Servicing the central Southland district, L J Contracting runs a twelve man team looking after farm effluent pond compliance, cleaning, desludging, as well as a baling and cultivation crew.

Company owner, Jim Cooper, says "we started out in 2012 running a slurry tanker and added two Keenan Orbital Muck Spreaders to the mix about six years ago now."

The spreaders are very solid and built with only a few bearings and all chains running through an oil bath resulting in very minimal maintenance and upkeep."
